The Students’ Council of Amar Saheed Kanchan Singh Autonomous P.G. College, Shivpuri Fatehpur is dedicated to promoting the interests of the college, contributing to its development, and ensuring the welfare of the students. Through its various initiatives, the council provides valuable opportunities for students to develop leadership skills, engage in meaningful activities, and contribute positively to the college community. Objectives

• It acts as a bridge between the students and the college administration, ensuring effective communication and addressing any concerns or suggestions raised by the student body.
• By organizing various academic, cultural, and extracurricular activities, the council creates an environment that supports both educational and personal growth, allowing students to explore their potential beyond the classroom.
• The council strives to build a sense of camaraderie among students, encouraging respect and understanding across diverse backgrounds. This helps in nurturing a harmonious and inclusive campus environment.
• In collaboration with the college authorities, the council actively participates in initiatives aimed at the overall development of the institution. This includes contributing to the planning and execution of various college events, policies, and improvements.
• The council serves as the voice of the students, representing their views and concerns on matters that impact their academic and social life. It ensures that the student perspective is considered in the decision-making process.
• The Students’ Council plays a crucial role in organizing and supporting sports and cultural events within the college. These activities not only provide a platform for talent but also help in building team spirit and fostering creativity.

Roles of the Student Council

• To officially represent all the students in the Institute.
• To identify and help solve problems encountered by students in the Institute.
• To communicate its opinion to the Institute administration on any subject that concerns students and on which the council wishes to be consulted.
• To promote and encourage the involvement of students in organizing Institute activities.

Responsibilities of the Student Council

• To promote the interests of students among the Institute administration, staff and parents.
• To inform students about any subject that concerns them
• To identify and help solve problems encountered by students in the Institute.
• To consult students on any issue of importance.
• To organize educational and recreational activities for students.
• To participate in developing the Institute’s educational projects and to promote it to students
• To organize an activity to recognize the efforts of students involved in organizing Institute activities.
• To propose activities to the Institute administration that would improve the quality of life in the Institute.
• To maintain good relations, out of mutual respect, with the Institute staff (the Principal, teaching and non-teaching personnel) and parents.
