Introduction

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at Amar Shaheed Kanchan Singh P.G. College, Shivpuri Fatehpur, is a pivotal body dedicated to promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the institution. Established in line with the guidelines of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), the IQAC plays a critical role in enhancing the quality of education, administration, and overall institutional performance. The IQAC aims to develop a systematic approach to ensure quality assurance and sustenance in various academic and administrative activities.

Mission

  • To develop and implement strategies for ongoing quality improvement in academic and administrative processes.
  • To actively involve all stakeholders in the quality assurance process to ensure a collaborative approach to institutional development.
  • To adopt and promote best practices in teaching, learning, and administration.
  • To establish a robust system for regular assessment and feedback to drive institutional growth and student success.

Functions

  • Establishing and promoting quality benchmarks for various academic and administrative activities of the institution.
  • Creating an environment conducive to quality education by encouraging participatory teaching and learning processes.
  • Collecting and analyzing feedback from students, parents, and other stakeholders to improve institutional processes.
  • Documenting various programs and activities leading to quality improvement in the institution.
  • Developing and promoting a quality culture within the institution.
  • Preparing the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) as per the guidelines and parameters of NAAC and submitting it to NAAC.
  • Identifying and institutionalizing best practices in teaching, learning, and evaluation to enhance the quality of education Coordinating with external agencies such as NAAC, UGC, and other higher education bodies for quality assurance and accreditation processes.
  • Encouraging and promoting research and development activities among faculty and students for academic growth and innovation.
