Amar Shaheed Kanchan Singh Autonomous P.G. College, is a minority institution  that has significantly contributed to higher education in the eastern part of Fatehpur district, Uttar Pradesh. Established in 2001 in the Shivpuri Village of Khaga Tahsheel, Named in honor of Kanchan Singh, a local martyr. The college has been a cornerstone for educational and social upliftment in an underdeveloped region. As a minority institution, the college was established with the mission to provide accessible and quality education to all, particularly focusing on the minority communities and other marginalized groups in the region.

The college began its journey on its own land, covering an area of 17 acres with a constructed area of 97886.32 square feet. Despite the initial challenges, the founders, comprising local leaders and educators, were committed to providing quality education to the rural populace. The initial infrastructure included basic classrooms and essential facilities, laying the foundation for the college’s future growth.

From its inception, ASKS Autonomous P.G. College Fatehpur (UP) aimed to offer a comprehensive range of academic programs. Initially, the college provided undergraduate courses in arts and humanities, which were in high demand in the region. As the college gained popularity and student enrollment increased, it expanded its academic offerings to include science and commerce streams. The introduction of postgraduate courses in various disciplines marked a significant milestone, transforming the college into a prominent postgraduate institution.

One of the core missions of ASKS Autonomous P.G.  College is to make education accessible to all sections of society. Special scholarships and financial aid programs are available for students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.
